What are the most common word formation processes? What is the word formation in word? Compounding forms a word out of two or more root morphemes. The words are called compounds or compound words.

The suffix can change the spelling of the original word. Adjectives – words which describe nouns, for example clever, large, funny, round. Adverbs – words that modify other word classes such as nouns or verbs, for example bravely, quickly, totally, awkwardly.
